Warren Buffett’s Little Known Water Stock AXTA.

What does it take to invest like Warren Buffett? Well, it takes the ability to examine a wide range of different companies and in the mean time find innovative new markets to expand into. Warren Buffett loves to value invest, and he chooses companies that will continue to provide him with a healthy return for years to come. Warren Buffett is not a day trader by any means and he is so wealthy that he doesn’t need to worry about making a quick buck anytime soon. This allows him to hone his interests on innovative companies, and staples of American engineering and stability.

Warren has also invested in some interesting water-related stocks, with one of the companies being Axalta Coating Systems (NYSE: AXTA). While not specifically a water-related stock, this is the company that is behind many of the protective paint coatings that can be found on steel water piping all over the country. When you see you bright colored pipes painted in those new office buildings around the country, there is a good chance that the coating was developed by Axalta Coating Systems. This is a lesser known position for Warren, but the company sticks to his principle of stable gains and a solid foundation for the future.

Water needs somewhere to flow through, and without the proper protection and coating, the piping will turn to rust. Warren Buffett knows that Axalta Coating Systems has a bright future and a stellar product line up that is not going anywhere soon. The company also has contracts with most government and city organizations, so there is no doubt that they will be in business for a very long time to come and with no major competition there is a huge market for growth as new clean energy plants are built which run on hydrogen.
