Mr. Warren Edward Buffett is a well-known and famous billionaire, as well as a renowned philanthropist and businessman. At an elder age now, he has spent his life being a part of great achievements and financial successes. Warren Buffett was born on August 30th, 1930 in Omaha, Nebraska. His father “Howard Buffett” was also a famous stockbroker and as well, served as a United States congressman. As the family tradition passed down, Warren too became involved in financial and political matters as he became a philanthropist, and his children (Peter, Howard, and Susan) did the same. Warren is believed to be the greatest investors of all time, thus resulting in the grand nickname “The Oracle of Omaha”. As well because of his wise investment choices and comments on the market.
At a young age, Warren presented strong business abilities and skills. By forming an organization going by the name “Buffett Partnership Ltd” in 1956, he and his father were able to establish other investment partnerships. By 1965, Warren had full control over the organization called “Berkshire Hathaway”, which to this day, Berkshire Hathaway Inc. is an American multinational conglomerate holding company set coincidentally in Omaha, Nebraska as well. The company holds a multitude of other American companies and businesses, such as Dairy Queen and Coca-Cola. Buffett is responsible for overseeing the growth of the conglomerate and the holdings within the company. Because of the multiple assets and holdings, Warren became one of the world’s richest men and philanthropist.
In 2006, Warren is said to have given away his entire fortune to charity. He is said to have offered up 85% of his earnings to a company named the “Bill and Melinda Gate Foundation”. The company is a charity foundation and said to be the wealthiest in the world. Because of Warren being a giving philanthropist, he donated his money to another foundation that does the same. And because of this donation, it is said it became the prime act of charity in the United States.
From his charitable actions, Warren gave away $28 billion in charity. He has proven to be a devoted and righteous individual bettering communities. As a self-made entrepreneur and businessman with a detailed and intelligent mindset, he has created grand opportunities for others. Adding to his success is his entrepreneurial and business mindset to allow him to grow bigger and enhanced. He also, just as his children, shows an unlimited exhibition of devotion to his work.
