Life History of Warren Buffett

Warren Buffet was born in 1930 in Nebraska, Omaha and is nicknamed Oracle of Ohama. He formed Buffet Partnership Ltd in 1956 and assumed control of Berkshire Hathaway in 1965. He has been married twice, to Susan Thompson from 1952 till she died in 2004 then to Astrid Menks in 2006. He is a wealthy man with a current net worth of $84 billion. He uses his Berkshire Hathaway company to help the needy through donations to various foundations as a way of giving back.

Mr. Buffet is known as the Oracle of Ohama for being a great investor of all time which highly pick and his market comments closely followed by other investors. This nickname is also due to him living and working in Omaha. He makes long-term investments and purchases fundamentally sound companies trading below their intrinsic value such as Coca-cola Company and Gillette Company.

In 2013, his income was about $37 million each day narrowing down to $1.54 million per hour amazingly making $25964 per minute. He was able to earn $12.7 billion in that year making his net worth an estimated $59.1 billion. Currently, he has made $84 billion this year. He is among the richest men in the world.

Warren is a charitable man. He was able to donate around $28 billion to charity between 2006 to 2017 and around 40% of his stake in Berkshire Company since 1965. Some of the foundations that have benefited from his charity work are; Gates, Susan Thompson Buffet, Howard. G. Buffet, Sherwood and NOVO foundations, Bill Gates is also a beneficiary. He has recently committed all his fortune to charity.
