Charlotte M. Guyman was born in 1956 and currently resides in Seattle, Washington.
Guyman graduated from the University of Washington where she received both her BS and MBA degrees
Guyman spent a good chunk of her career with the Microsoft Corporation and she held various positions. Before her retirement in 1999, she served as general manager and also as Director of International Marketing, among other positions.
Charlotte M. Guyman has been an independent director for Berkshire Hathaway since 2003.
In addition to serving on the Berkshire Hathaway board, Guyman has been involved in a number of other organizations and currently is a board member at both the Space Needle LLC and the Save the Children Federation Inc. She is a former chairman of the University of Washington School of Medicine and currently holds the role of Vice Chairman.
