Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices lends it Name to Ann Arbor Real Estate Branch

Warren Buffett, billionaire investing mega mogul is making his way to Ann Arbor. At least his real estate franchise is.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices – the latest real estate brokerage network – operated by HSF Affiliates LLC, announced recently that it acquired the Prudential franchise network all throughout the United States. During this transitional period, the local Ann Arbor Prudential branch was just rebranded as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Snyder & Company, Realtors.

“We could not be more honored and excited to join a real estate network whose namesake is Berkshire Hathaway Inc., one of the world’s most trusted and respected organizations,” owner and broker Sharon Snyder mentioned in a news release. “We are proud to represent the brand in our greater Ann Arbor market.”

Snyder is going to remain as the independent owner of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Snyder & Company, Realtors, and is now considered a HomeServices franchisee. She feels that the Berkshire Hathaway name brand is going to help her company grow.

“We believe Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices will be embraced by all consumers, as the name stands for integrity, strength and success,” said Snyder. “Top agents will want to represent our brand, as they understand its value and potential in the marketplace.”

At a recent Barton Hills Country Club event in Ann Arbor, Snyder and her agents announced the changeover, and mentioned that the impact that the brand will have on the local market gives her company its best ever outlook.

HSF Affiliates LLC CEO, based out of Irvine, California, Earl Lee, welcomed the real estate agency to the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices family during this recent event.

“Sharon is a terrific leader and her company serves the greater Ann Arbor market with distinction,” said Lee during the event. “We are glad that they’re moving forward as members of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.”

As the agency switches yard signs from the previous Prudential brand, you’ll now see the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices cabernet and cream color scheme on display.

There will be a ribbon cutting event on February 20 at the Ann Arbor office, and Earl Lee will be in attendance.
