Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Launches First Major Marketing Campaign

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices has both 15 second and 30 second TV spots showing how an emotional family facing a challenging situation in need of selling their home, and how the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices team and agent was able to help them through this difficult process.

HSF Affiliates LLC is the parent company of BHHS. It is a joint venture between Brookfield Asset Management and HomeServices of America. These companies also manage Real Living Brands and Prudential Real Estate.

“Momentum has been building nicely at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and now we’re taking our message to the airways and doorsteps of America,” Kerry Donovan said. He is the vice president of marketing at HSF Affiliates.

“By choosing Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, consumers align with a brand inspired by the world-renowned Berkshire Hathaway Inc. and agents who truly stand out in the local marketplace,” said Donovan. “All our advertising makes it crystal clear that Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is a game changer for homebuyers and sellers.”

HomeServices of America, a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate, created Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices after picking up a majority stake in the Real Living and Prudential Real Estate brands in 2012 from Brookfield Asset Management.

This new brand was created as a way to accommodate the firms affiliated with Prudential Real Estate, which was set to fade away when last rights expired in the late 2020s due to Brookfield’s 2011 purchase.

Re/Max has a national TV spot that airs on local cable and network channels. Coldwell Banker real estate also has a marketing campaign underway with a TV ad that aired during the Grammy awards. It also had another ad that aired during the Academy Awards.
