Warren Buffett’s Cadillac Auctioned For Charity

Warren Buffett has an old 2006 Cadillac that will be auctioned off in order to raise money for one charity that is a favorite of his. Last year the billionaire finally upgraded and has a newer model.

The old DTS sedan owned by Warren Buffett will be put for sale online as part of an auction starting on Wednesday and the auction will last until February 19. Visit www.proxibid.com to learn more.

The 2006 Cadillac only has 20,310 miles, because as we know Buffett has a very short commute to work at the Berkshire Hathaway headquarters in Omaha. And based on Buffett’s past auction performance, this car is going to draw a lot of attention and earn more than the Kelly book value of $10,000-$11,600.

Buffett last auctioned off a car in 2001 when his Lincoln sold for $73,200. The book value of the vehicle at the time was $11,200, so it’s a huge win for charity.

All of the profits from this auction go to Girls Inc. of Omaha, a nonprofit organization.
