Today, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties just announced that their Irvine office is being joined by Kanyen “Connie” Tye. “Connie is poised for a very bright future in real estate,” said manager James Cameron. “Her understanding of the art of property management and excellent problem solving skills make her a trusted advisor to every client she assists.”
Tye is formally a Miramar College adjunct professor of mathematics, and she explains that she decided to go into residential sales in order to combine her passion for real estate and her desire to help others achieve their ultimate goals. Raised in Taiwan by a family with a real estate background, she learned about and developed her negotiating talent from many experiences managing personal rental property and conducting transactions.
“Real estate was a natural progression for me, because I consider it a privilege and an honor to have a chance to help my friends and relatives find good properties for their families,” says Tye, who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.
She believes that her background in mathematics and her long-term experience in real estate will give her the opportunity to develop highly accurate, detailed evaluations of certain properties. “Being able to gauge the true market value of a property is a benefit to buyers and sellers alike,” says Tye, “since it gives me the necessary information to negotiate the best possible price.”
