Just wondering if anyone agrees that Sears Holdings is slowly morphing into being a variant of Berkshire Hathaway?

Stephen : In my opinion no comparison . Sears lofty share price is the only thing they share . And I might add volatile stock price . Percentage change on Sears from day to day is vastly larger than Berkshire .

Stephen,

Only time will tell.  However, if you read any letters from the Chairman (Eddie Lampert), you sort of feel like you're reading Buffett in disguise.  Lampert is a self described "value investor" and huge follower of Buffett's work.  Many are speculating exactly what you have questioned.  As I said, I think only time will answer the question.
