Edina Realty recently announced that they are going to start promoting their affiliation with Berkshire Hathaway. They even added Berkshire Hathaway to the company logo. The new company tagline is, “a Berkshire Hathaway affiliate,” and it appears on the company business cards, website, signage and other marketing materials.

With this addition to our logo, we also benefit from the reputation, strength and financial security of the Berkshire Hathaway brand, which is internationally recognized.”
Coming up in July, the 2100 realtors from Edina Realty will begin using the Berkshire Hathaway logo on yard signage, marketing materials and business cards. They are the second most widely recognized of real estate agencies, and their new logo will reflect it.
The company is part of a national network of real estate businesses owned by HomeServices of America Inc., which in the United States is currently the second-largest full-service independent residential real estate brokerage firm. The parent company has 29 other affiliate companies, and over 390 branch offices housing 17,000 real estate professionals in 21 states. They are mainly based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and they did $32 billion worth of sales in 2011 and $40 billion worth of sales in 2012. HomeServices of America Inc.’s 2013 real estate sales projections and expected to go up by 25%, and they are an affiliate of Berkshire Hathaway.
