Buffett Isn’t Worried About Tesla

On Tuesday, Warren Buffett was very dismissive of the Tesla Motors possible threat due to their direct-sales distribution system. He doesn’t believe that it is going to disrupt his automotive dealership business.

“What Tesla does with it, we’ll find out. But I do not see the distribution system changing in any major ways,” said Warren Buffett in an interview on CNBC.

Tesla, the vehicle maker, sells its cars to consumers directly, and many dealership groups have highly criticized this particular practice.

Warren Buffett has also downplayed the possibility of an influx of self-driving automobiles in the near future, and even expressed his doubts over how well the public will embrace this technology.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, recently said that the next Tesla software update will provide a driverless feature for their cars. We’ll have to wait and see how this all plays out.

  1. Speaking of Change for the auto market, I got ideas for that too. But they are personal to me and I can't blast them on here because they would be of greatest value to Berkshire Hathaway Automotive only. It's my personal opinion that electric cars are not for everyone but won't get into the details. As the old saying goes, whatever floats your boat!!! Be safe everyone and don't overcharge your batteries(and yourself lol).
