The Associated Press reports that billionaire investor Warren Buffett and Berkshire Hathaway purchased an additional 500,000 shares of DaVita Healthcare Partners, a company based out of Denver, Colorado.
Buffett’s company Berkshire Hathaway now owns a total of 5.6 million shares of the dialysis provider. In total, Berkshire has a 15% ownership in the company. Buffett has agreed to not purchase more than 25% of the outstanding company shares.
Berkshire and Warren Buffett have continued to increase the total holding of DaVita since they first started buying up shares of the company in 2011.
