As part of the HSF Affiliates LLC family of real estate brokerages, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices announced this week that a new brokerage has joined the family, and Prudential Indiana Realty Group will become Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Indiana Realty.
This brokerage – always a member of Prudential Real Estate’s Top 50 companies – and one of the leading brokerages in America – has generated roughly $850 million in sales during 2013, as well as closing 5117 units during the same time. It is the next company out of many affiliates to join Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices since its inception in September 2013. At this time, the network currently has 1034 offices, 34,000 agents and they operate in 47 states.
“We step into a bold, new era with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices,” said Kevin Kirkpatrick, company cofounder. “The network, named for Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc., is one of the most compelling branding opportunities to come along in real estate. We will take Indiana Realty to new heights representing this brand.”
Additionally, John Dick, cofounder, added: “Our company is built on a legacy of quality service and expertise, and we proudly carry our traditions to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. The combination of this brand and Indiana Realty will be a force in the Hoosier State, and a symbol of the very best service and professionalism available.”
Dick, Kirkpatrick and the Marketing Partners at Indiana Realty, who include: Kathy Hall, Dean Hicks, Lori Miller, Lonn and Cheryl Stuckwish, Larry Pickens, Erin Lowder, Jerry Alexander, Kerry Wiggerly and Eric Seymour – believe in this brand and feel that it is the perfect match for their company. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices is a reflection of the integrity, longevity, stability and trust that the Berkshire Hathaway brand provides, and they possess the same qualities that have embraced Indiana Realty since its inception in 1980. The Berkshire Hathaway brand will help this brokerage grow so that they can recruit top agents. “We love the timing of our transition, as real estate and the economy are moving forward,” said Kirkpatrick. “Our plan is to grow the business while always providing the best service for our clients; the brand plays an important part of the strategy.”
Due to the transition, agents at Indiana Realty will have access to the Global Network Platform provided by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. It is a suite of online tools, services and applications, and it also provides education, marketing support and ongoing business consultation when needed. The resources include a handy mobile app, lead generation and more tools that provide clear and accurate real estate data.
There will be a transitional ribbon-cutting ceremony in the next few days at all of the 19 offices of Indiana Realty. Soon enough, you’ll see the Cabernet and Cream Berkshire Hathaway yard signs appearing in Southern and Central Indiana.
HSF Affiliates CEO Earl Lee applauds the transition by Indiana Realty. “Kevin, John, the Marketing Partners, and their agents set high standards for Indiana real estate,” said Lee. “We’re proud to welcome these professionals and their fine company to Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.”
